Birds do it, Bees do it . . .

I saw the neatest happening in the back forty..  There are two bird feeders, one for birds and one for humming birds.

The one for the humming birds is bright red in the hope that the little ones will go there. 

Today one little one did not.  He went to the regular bird feeder and was having himself a good meal when a just beautiful Cardinal flew on and with a little nudge sent him on his way.  He found the bright red feeder and finished off his meal with dessert. 

I would have missed this but I was feeling a little hungry myself and put some french fries in my toaster oven which is by the window in the kitchen and that is how I was able to see still another of God's creatures doing what they do best.
