Friday's 'Cliff'-hanger May 30. 2008

Today was my first day out in a week and I could not believe the difference in the terrain on the way down the mountain.  It was as though the trees and shrubs growing on either side of the road were about to meet in the middle and consume us as we drove by.  I mentioned to Joann how the greenery was so much fuller than my last trip into town.  You would have to see this to believe it.  These trees were bare sticks just weeks ago and now they are full of beautiful green leaves.  It's truly amazing.
For the first time since we moved up here one year and seven months ago I felt warm going out.   Joann had the sun roof open and the a/c on in the car and the sun coming in the roof made the a/c feel good.  My Transition Lens even darkened with the sun.  We saw a lot of cars with Florida plates and I am sure they thought they were back in Florida.
Tomorrow is the anniversary of a very special event in my life and I will tell you why when next we meet.
Closing with the Walk-Off Home Run by Cliff Floyd, the Rays won 2-1!!

Love and prayers from here to there
